Support Services (available to students)

NVC RTO recognises that candidates learn in different ways and speeds. Candidates will be supported in their learning by mentors and by regular meetings with the RTO Manager.

 

Nambucca Valley Care also provides access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for those staff who may require external counselling services.

 

Support will be offered to candidates whose language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills may make it difficult to complete the program.  In these instances an individual learning plan will be put in place to assist the candidate who is struggling. A referral to an external LLN provider or to our LLN program at NVC may result.
